Transparent Boundaries
Art Impossible to Ignore
About the Project
Technical specifications
"Transparent Boundaries" is not just an exhibition.
It is an emotional artistic manifesto that explores — through art — the themes of invisible violence, loss of identity, the breakdown of personality, and the process of transformation.

We live in a world where much suffering goes unnoticed.
Where fear, manipulation, and psychological or physical violence become shadows, dissolving into everyday life.
This exhibition shatters the illusion of safety, brings buried emotions to light, and asks a vital question: Where is your boundary?
Anastasiya Kao
The project is created by Anastasia Kao — a contemporary artist working at the intersection of conceptual art, installation, and light-based media.

Her work explores the boundaries of perception, personal freedom, and emotional experience through glass, crystals, and light. Each piece becomes a kind of mirror — reflecting the viewer’s inner states.
The themes she addresses are universal: silence and liberation, trauma and healing, strength born of vulnerability.

Today, the Transparent Boundaries project is drawing the attention of institutions and galleries across Europe. It has been officially selected for presentation at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva — as an artistic statement within the global dialogue on freedom, identity, and the right to be oneself.

Dark Zone: Limitations
Number of artworks: 10 paintings, 5 installations
Themes: oppression, fear, social pressure, violence, invisibility of victims
Main materials: mirrors, glass, crystal, wire mesh

You will feel the weight of silence, the barriers that hold each of us back.
Shattered glass, crystal chains, and light projections create full immersion into the inner state of a person trapped in their own shadow.

Transition Zone: Transformation
